What is Future-Ready?
The power-saving metrics will change after some years/months. The current power saving guide label will end by June 2022, after that we might see a down in star rating for the 2022 year AC models. For example, the current 5-star AC could move to 4-star, and the current 3-star AC could turn to 2-star after June 2022. However, If the model denotes future-ready, that will remain in the same star rating after June 2022. This might go till Dec 2023.
Here, both VNU and DNU models denote the same future-ready models, so even after June 2022, these models will continue with a 3-star rating. Blue Star has introduced these models by considering the power consumption and star rating of the future in mind. Hence they call it future-ready models.
