How to understand the star rating/year in Blue Star AC using model number?
Blue Star use number “24” for 2-ton AC, “18” for 1.5-ton AC, and “12” for 1-ton AC.
“IA” – mentions 2022 year, if you found “IC” at the starting of the model number that is the 2020 year.
The number “5” in the model number denotes 5-star, and “3” denotes 3-star.
Example:
IA518VLU – This is a 1.5-ton, 5-star, and 2022 year AC (VLU model)
IA512DLU- This is 1-ton, 5-star, and 2022 year AC (DLU model).
IA318VNU- This is a 1.5-ton, 3-star, and 2022 year AC (VNU model).
