If you have a plan to buy a TV, suddenly one quick question which always comes to your mind, which TV brand should I buy and what are all the best brands present on the Market? Yes, It is a difficult question to answer, because each is best in their own way. So, here I am going to tell the best TV brands in India on the current year 2021 market and investigation what I have done.

1. Samsung

Samsung is a South Korean company that has been the market leader and most trusted in TV industries for a long time. Because of this, it owns the top position in this industry now. If you are looking to buy TVs in the premium range Samsung can be your first choice.

  • Popular for QLED TVs.
  • Not making any OLED TVs.
  • Using Tizen OS developed especially for Samsung TVs.
  • HDR Support. (Samsung names it as HDR10+)
  • Use VA Panel, which is best for color contrast, and dark rooms.
  • Cost will be high compared to other brands but less compared to Sony.

2. Sony

Sony is the Japanese company which has been the most famous for their electronic products. It is the most trusted known brand for picture and audio quality. Sony also produced TV in the premium range. It doesn’t have its own manufacturing units of OLED displays. Hence it has to get it from LG, this makes the price a little higher.

  • Making best OLED TVs and LED TVs. Not Making QLED TVs.
  • Give importance to picture quality and sound effects, so earned trust from most customers.
  • Brand value is high.
  • Using Android TV OS.  Don’t have have own Operration System like Samsung and LG. They have Tizen and WebOS respectively.

  • Use VA Panel, which is best for color contrast, and dark rooms.
  • Cost is high.

LG is also a South Korean company and popular brand for making TVs and other electronic products. It holds the third position in the list, but close competition with Sony for the second spot. Picture quality is good but still needs improvement compared to Sony and Samsung. This is the main reason this holds the third position. LG TVs are available in some decent budgets.

  • Using Web OS developed especially for LG TVs. This is the best OS with rich UI experience only made for LG TVs.
  • HDR10 Support (LG names it as HDR Pro)
  • Use IPS Panel. It is also another great advantage of LG.  It has wider viewing angle, and best for brighter rooms.
  • Cost will be less compared to Sony and Samsung.

4. Xiaomi

Xiaomi is the Chinese Brand that making Smart TVs under MI and Redmi series. They are targeting middle-class people and making more affordable versions of Smart TV. Xiaomi leads the Smart TV market in the number one position over the last 3 years. It has 46% growth in the 2021 year. The reason I have mentioned Xiaomi in 4th position is they are not making premium range TV. Their TVs have specs that match with premium ones, but you can’t match the output with other above 3 brands.

  • Producing afforable/budgeted Smart TV.
  • Making LED and QLED TVs.
  • HDR Support
  • Produces TV using both VA and IPS Panel. But they don’t mention it anywhere. You can’t choice this option.
  • Works with Operating System Andriod TV with Patchwall.

5. Panasonic

Panasonic is a Japanese company which currently producing the Sanyo brand in India. This brand also competing with the top 3 (Samsung, Sony, and LG). Picture quality is also quite good compared to other brands.

  • Using My Home Screen OS upgraded version of Firefox OS. 
  • HDR Support.
  • Use IPS Panel like LG.
  • Cost will be less compared to Sony and Samsung.

6. VU

Vu is the Indian brand, which offers the best-budged TV in recent years. This holds this position because of the lower price budgeted brands available in markets. If you could afford more money, you can go with this brand which produces decent TVs.
